Space Family Reunion

This May, we’re calling all seekers, dreamers, and benevolent beings to join us at Jacumba Hot Springs Hotel for Space Family Reunion: an interdimensional gathering celebrating self-made community, healing through creativity, and our connection to the cosmos.

For two dazzling days, we’ll gather under the expansive skies of the Sonoran Desert for special hot mineral poolside screenings of the new feature documentary Welcome Space Brothers and rare films from the Unarius archives, celestial live music, creativity workshops, illuminating panel discussions, and the healing waters of Jacumba.

Directed by Jodi Wille (The Source Family), Welcome Space Brothers is about The Unarius Academy of Science, an extraterrestrial-channeling spiritual school and self-healing community in El Cajon, California, which in the 1970s became a wildly prolific filmmaking collective. Under the direction of outlandish spiritual leader Ruth E. Norman, AKA “Archangel Uriel,” Unarius crafted otherworldly costumes, elaborate sets and ingenious no-budget special effects to spread their “interdimensional science of life” and self-healing principles via some of the most wildly inventive public access TV programming in America.
